Sound Sensitivity

Until now, I have become aware that my daughter Isabella could have something called sound sensitivity. At first, when she would tell me that sounds caused by things such as fireworks, thunderstorms, vaccums, hair driers, blenders would bother her, I thought she was just being overly sensitive and picky, and that she just didn't like the sounds.

Now,I am trying to understand her a little more. I'm trying to figure out possible causes and treatments. I am even considereing visiting an ear specialist because this has gotten worse. She needs to wear these special headphones whenever there is a noise that bothers her, and I've also noticed that she begins to sweat a lot and breathe harder.

yeah it's a major sensory issue. Noah has it. We don't think Nathan does but he *may* once his hearing is figured out. In one way Nathan's hearing loss is a good thing since he has so many other sensory issues, I'm sure we'll be adding that one once we do figure out his hearing issues.
