Finally, I am able to write!
I couldn't think of a better title for this post. Yesterday, we came back from Costa Rica, a little earlier that what was planned, but we are happy to be back. Today was my mom's first day at work. I hope everything goes fine for her, I wish her the best in this new stage of her life. We are home a little earlier because Mari had a bladder infection. But to be 100 % honest, we are home because I really wanted to be back, cause when Mari starts on antibiotics, she usually gets better on the same day. But anyways, I am back, and I am happy to be with my family and at home! Eugenia, her Physical Therapist from Costa Rica said it was fine for us to come back early and gave us instructions of what to do with Mari's learning to walk process.
I feel a little exhausted. Although this is a step forward to independence for Mari, right now, Mari is more dependent on all of us, but more on me than on anyone else. Before, we could leave her on her Parapodium and we knew she would be fine. Now, we can't leave her on her own not even a second because she is just learning to coordinate her balance, and if left unattended she might fall. Also, instead of carrying her to places, I have to walk her to places. So besides being tired and exhausted my back hurts so much. But I don't care a bit, cause I know that tomorrow's outcome is worth today's sacrifice.
