Roger Jose's Birthday Party

Roger's First Birthday Party!

Image
I had these beautiful party favors done for Roger Jose's Baby Einstein themed party.  Then I bought these plastic bags and wrapped them in there so they would look more presentable.  I had little jean bags made for the girls with the Baby Einstein caterpillar and their names embroidered in the front of the bag.  For boys, I had jean caps with their names embroidered on the front and the Baby Einstein Caterpillar on the back of the cap.  Isn't this cute?   I hope the cake comes out nice also! The piñata is huge and really cute also.

I woke up in the morning, and the girls and we sang happy birthday To Roger.  I can't believe he's one year old!  He's grown so fast and I can't believe that year ago he was thei little newborn baby.  He is such a happy little boy!  I love you Roger José.

Thanks Mami, for Your Words of Encouragement, You Are Good at Lifting Up my Sel-Esteem!

Tu mama

A Letter From Mommy At The Beginning of This Crisis.

Starting School on Monday!

I am starting School on Monday! I am excited, but a little worried...classes seem a little hard this semester. And I'm having lots of Pre-Assignment homework to do this time, which I've already started to work on, but still need to do more! This time I'm going to take two classes starting on Monday June 15th and ending on the 26th. They are Curriculum and Theory Design and Evaluation and Research. The first one seem very interesting, the second one doesn't seem too interesting to me.

Everyone Still Sleeping this Morning!

Today, when I woke up, I was surprised not to listen anyone crying or calling my name! It was 6:30 in the morning and all the kids were still sleeping. Roger was the first one to wake up, but didn't cry. It's 7:03 am and the girls are still sleeping!

Livingroom on Hold!

Nobody came to work on our living room yesterday, and I guess nobody is coming today either! I'm anxious to have this work done already! The living room is a mess, and my sofas are outside.

Roger's Birthday is Coming!

We are planning Roger's First Birthday Party for the 27th of June. My grandma says I should cancel because of the swine flu. I really don't want to cancel. Anyways, the theme will be Baby Einstein. I designed his birthday invitation in photoshop all from scratch:

Roger's Sleeping Patterns are Changing!

Roger has been having horrible sleeping/nappinp patterns lately. Yesterday, he cried the three times I put him to sleep. I had to rock him to sleep! And today he woke up at 4:30 am crying. What could possibly be wrong with him. The only thing that comes to my mind is that he is needing less time to sleep during the day. I really don't like that. I enjoy the two two hour naps he takes in the morning and afternoon!.

The house was unrecognizable today after some work they did today on our ex-sunken living room. I thought they were going to finish today, but now, they are finishing till Monday. I am anxious to see how everything is going to look!

UPDATES

Image
I am tired of writing about how sick we are, but that's basically what all this week and part of last has been about.  Anyways, I am almost completely recovered, no fever since yesterday, no more sore throat, nor body aches.  Marcella is also feeling better, but has two horrible sores on her throat...never seen anything like that in my life, they do seem very painful.  Maria Isabella has no fever, no sore throat, but is full of phlegm and coughs a lot. She needs a nebulizer treatment every two hours and is taking antibiotics.

Still Sick!

I am going to the doctor today...I had 39 C fever today and it did not go down until right now at three o'clock.  Maria Isabella went to the doctor yesterday, and my mom took her again today because I was not feeling well.  Thanks mami!

Everybody at Home is Sick, except Roger Jose!

I can't believe Roger José has been able to stay healthy. Marcella still got a fever today, I am a little worried. This was supposed to be her last week of school. It is final exam week. Today I went to pick up her books, and told the teacher she might be able to go to class tomorrow, but apparently, she won't. Maria Isabella is better. She still got a fever this morning, but was low.
